Sickle Cell Smart List~

Those who know me know that I have a list for everything, and this is the time of the month I start putting together my “Organic” shopping list.

I have been wanting to make this, “Red Lentils, Garlic & Quinoa recipe for sometime and was going to make it today for lunch and realized I was all out of Quinoa, my favorite rice substitute. So I have been going through my cabinets most of the morning making my list:
Grains:
Millet
Quinoa
Wild Rice

Oils:
Coconut Oil
Olive Oil
Sesame Oil
Peanut Oil

Sweeteners

Agave Nectar
Honey
Maple syrup

Not a very long list because all my other healthy foods I purchase are on the family shopping list. And my healthy organic meals are not always the favorite of the teenagers in the house so I only share if they enjoy the latest recipe. This weekend will be Asparagus, Quinoa & Mushrooms w/cayenne pepper, and my Red Lentils, Garlic & Quinoa….Yum Yum~ If I am feeling up to it I just might take a few pictures and post them.
